Brief History

This Studebaker model SD registered originally in Liverpool, the earliest known history shows the car having been registered to Charles John Edmund Williams of the High St. Bromyard, on the 4th Feb 1921, the car was originally Grey and Black, and is known to have spent some 20 years as an exhibit at Beaulieu Motor Museum, and was subsequently restored in the mid 70s, the interior appears to be original as are most of the unique styled fittings, Studebaker were advanced in 1915 offering Electric Head lights, Side Lights, Horn and a windscreen wiper, the car has Wooden Artillery wheels and fully eliptic rear springs.
The three speed gearbox is joined to the rear differential, and driven by a large flywheel housing a leather faced cone clutch.
The Studebaker partook in recent VCC main event in Montreuil sur Mer, France with no greater problems than a puncture.
